actor coaching.

at the heart of my work
is a simple truth:

my work is grounded in:

  • presence: learning to listen, respond, and stay available to what is happening in the moment

  • embodiment: connecting voice, body, emotion, and imagination so the whole actor is available to the work

  • curiosity: approaching characters, text, and creative choices with openness rather than searching for one “right” answer

  • play: giving yourself permission to experiment, take risks, make bold choices, and discover through doing

  • craft: developing practical tools that give you greater specificity, flexibility, and freedom as an actor

the most compelling acting comes from bringing
more of yourself to the work, not less.

actor training is not about becoming someone else. it is about developing the freedom, curiosity, and craft to respond truthfully within

the imagined world of the play.

my acting coaching weaves together:
professional actor training | breath and body practices
emotional training| yoga and contemplative awareness
an integrative approach to acting.

my approach to actor training brings together practical technique, embodied exploration, and creative play. rather than teaching you a single “correct” way to act, my work focuses on developing a flexible set of tools you can draw from depending on the character, text, medium, and demands of the work.

we may explore text, voice, movement, emotional access, imagination, character, physicality, listening, and moment-to-moment responsiveness. technique gives us structure, but the goal is always greater freedom within that structure. the work is active, curious, and rooted in discovery. we are not trying to manufacture a performance. we are creating the conditions for something specific, responsive, and alive to emerge.

because technique should not make you less like yourself.
it should give you greater freedom to create.

this work may support you if you are:

  • want to deepen your acting technique and expand your artistic toolkit

  • feel stuck, overly controlled, or disconnected in your acting

  • struggle with being “in your head” or trying to make the right choice

  • want greater connection between your voice, body, emotion, and imagination

  • are looking for more freedom and spontaneity in your work

  • want to strengthen your approach to text, character, auditions, or performance

  • are returning to acting after time away and want to reconnect with your craft

  • want an actor-training environment that values curiosity, experimentation, and individuality

who this work supports.

you do not need to fit a particular type of actor or work from one specific methodology. whether you are beginning your training, returning to the craft, or looking to deepen an established practice, we begin with where you are and build from there.

what i offer.

  • private one-on-one coaching

  • small group sessions for acting

  • acting workshops and master classes

  • online or in-person

a place to begin.

if you're interested in working together, we can begin with a conversation about where you are in your acting, what you are currently working toward, and where you would like to grow. from there, we can identify the tools and areas of training that will best support your individual work.

you do not need to become a different actor. the work is about discovering how much more of yourself is available.

i invite you to a free 30-minute introductory conversation so we can explore your goals and the next step in your journey.
